14 Jan Very urgent transport

In our world, everything moves quickly, and everything is “urgent” and “express”.

Exceptional transport often conjures up images of something slow and cumbersome. This transport by Veneta Trasporti was an exception to the rule. It was a BAUER BG28 tracked excavator, 17.50 metres long and weighing 64 tonnes, that was to be delivered immediately to a construction site at a standstill waiting to receive it.

There was no time to waste. We prepared the road authorisations and quickly presented them to the various bodies owning the roads. The public workers helped considerably and after 7 days we organised the transport from Vicenza to Ravenna.

“Et voilà”, the transport was complete, and everything went well.
